Learning Management Systems (LMS) are becoming a critical part of the school environment, especially for those implementing 1:1 programs. This session will offer an overview of 6 LMS options (list subject to change): Canvas, Haiku, Fishtree, Promethean CurriculumLoft, Schoology, and TeacherEase.

iPad Media Camp and Classroom Applications

Nationally-known presenter, Dr. Wes Fryer will be back in our area for THREE DAYS this summer!

As part of a week-long, 3-credit-hour session, Wes will guide you in a hands-on workshop designed to inspire and equip you to facilitate student media projects using iPads. In addition to learning specific media creation strategies with iPads, you will also learn a variety of techniques for facilitating student media projects and managing student learning in a 1:1 environment. The other two days of the session will explore the application of technology in Common Core/NGSS-based instruction and provide an opportunity to finalize lessons to use with your students.

Dates: June 23-27, 2014
